Summary:

Would amend the Illinois Human Rights Act to allow an award of damages to be increased by up to three times the amount of any actual damages sustained if there is a finding of a civil rights violation against a female employee based upon the employee’s sex, and would amend the Equal Pay Act of 2003 to allow an award of damages to be increased by up to 3 times the amount of any underpayment if there is a finding an employer committed a violation against a female employee.
