Development Database Associate
Rachel Hicks is the development database associate at the National Partnership for Women & Families, where she works doing data entry for donor relations.
Prior to her work at the National Partnership, Rachel worked to provide free yard work and house cleaning services to seniors around Washington, .DC., as the volunteer coordinator then as the program manager for Seabury Resources for Aging Age-In-Place® program. While at Age-In-Place®, Rachel taught herself how to use Salesforce. Rachel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Memphis where she majored in political science and minored in international studies.
Rachel grew up in Tennessee before moving to DC to pursue her career in the non-profit sector. Though she received her degree in political science while working part-time at her local library, Rachel realized that she enjoyed serving others. She wants to start her own non-profit dedicated to the mentorship, advocacy and advancement of young adults that either choose to attend or decide to forego college.
