Conference Call: Integrating Consumers into Governance Structures, 12/9/2010
On December 9, 2010 the National Partnership for Women & Families moderated a conference call for four AF4Q Alliances in various stages of creating Consumer Advisory Councils. The call provided staff from these Alliances the opportunity to share best practices for integrating consumers into governance structures, and allowed them to ask questions of each other. On January 20, 2010 the National Partnership for Women & Families hosted a webinar on health care reform from the consumer perspective; information included the health care reform options that impact quality and access, the possible roles of advocates in reform implementation, and how national reform may impact health care in the Aligning Forces for Quality communities.
