Moving Women Forward: Strategies for Workplace Success
Despite significant gains by women in the workplace, many still struggle to overcome obstacles that limit their job opportunities and hinder their advancement.
The National Partnership for Women & Families is working hard to ensure that all women can succeed.
Thanks to funding from Citigroup, we have launched a multi-year project, Moving Women Forward: Strategies for Workplace Success. By identifying the best practices used by employers and workforce training programs to successfully integrate and retain low-income women in the workplace, the project's goal is help women overcome employment barriers that limit their success.
Key Roundtable Findings
The “Citi Series: Around the Table with Working Women,” roundtable series explores employer best practices, successful workforce development strategies, and effective polices that help integrate low-income women into the workforce. The first roundtable was held in May 2008. Read the full report »
