Legislation about Paid Sick Days
This category contains bills and statutes that allow workers to earn a limited amount of job-protected paid sick time from their employers. Earned paid sick time can typically be used by a worker to recover from their own illness, care for an ill family member or seek routine medical care. Some proposals also permit earned paid sick time to be used to address legal, medical and other needs arising from domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking.
