America's population is aging, family caregiving needs are escalating, and our nation doesn't yet provide the supports that many family caregivers urgently need. The challenges are exacerbated because many workplaces don't accommodate caregiving responsibilities and because our health care system is inefficient and not centered on patients and their families.
