Summary: Creates a state Family and Medical Leave Act that extends leave provisions to parents of newborn or newly adopted children who work in businesses with between 15 and 49 employees. Workers would be able to take up to six weeks of leave to care for their new child. Employee eligibility requirements of the federal FMLA apply.
