Summary:
Expands access to leave under current Oregon law, which allows certain workers who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking, or are the parent or guardian of a minor child or dependent who is a survivor, to take reasonable, unpaid time off from work.
This bill allows all workers to access the law, regardless of hours worked and time with their employer. The bill also requires covered employers to post information about these laws in break rooms and other conspicuous locations.
This database provides short summaries of bills and statutes. The summaries are not intended to constitute legal advice.
