Summary:

Establishes a Task Force to study temporary disability insurance programs and the process for assisting individuals with disabilities at local departments of social services. The Task Force will study benefits available, under current state and federal law, to injured and ill workers and recently unemployed individuals and will study and compare temporary disability insurance programs in other jurisdictions.

The Task Force will remain in effect for one year.
