Summary:
Requires employers of 50 or more employees to allow workers who have been employed for at least six months at least half-time to take up to 16 hours of unpaid leave per school year to attend children’s school activities. A worker may not draw on this Parental Involvement Leave unless they have exhausted all other accrued leave (except sick and disability leave). Also requires schools to schedule regular conferences and activities during non-work hours at least part of the time.
