O'Brien v. Mayor and City Council of Baltimore

Crisis pregnancy centers and Catholic leaders filed a lawsuit against a Baltimore City Council ordinance that required crisis pregnancy centers to disclose whether they provided emergency contraception or abortion services. In January 2011, the U.S. District Court issued an injunction against application of the ordinance. In June 2012, a three-judge panel of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the lower court's opinion. Current Status: In August 2012, the Fourth Circuit agreed to rehear the case.
