Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest v. Alaska

Challenge to Alaska’s parental involvement law, which requires notification of a young woman's parent at least 48 hours before an abortion. Part of the law is currently enjoined, but the notice requirements are in effect. Current Status: The case was argued in Alaska Superior Court in March 2012. (See the law here.
