Texas v. Sebellius

Challenge to the US Department of Health and Human Services' Center for Medicare and Medicaid's decision to end funding of Texas' Medicaid Women's Health Program because Texas violated the law by refusing to allow any of the money to go to Planned Parenthood or other entities that are affiliated with abortion providers. Current Status: In December 2012, the U.S. District Court denied Texas’ request for a preliminary injunction. (See the rule here. See the letter from CMS here.)
