Summary: Expands the state’s Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to apply to school paraprofessionals who are municipal employees and who have worked for at least 950 hours in the previous year. Also clarified that FMLA benefits are available to eligible municipal employees to care for a same sex married partner.
