Summary:
Expands on the federal FMLA by allowing an eligible worker to take up to 30 days of their FMLA leave to deal with the effects of domestic violence, if the worker or the worker's child is a victim of domestic violence. A worker who is eligible for other types of leave, such as paid sick leave or annual leave, may elect to, but is not required to, take that type of leave instead.
