Summary:
Expands Oregon's family and medical leave law to allow eligible workers to take family leave to deal with the death of a family member. Eligible workers may take up to two weeks of their FMLA leave for the purposes of attending a funeral, making arrangements related to the family member's death or grieving. Eligible workers may take up to six weeks of their FMLA leave to receive counseling or other medical treatment related to the family member's death, provided they have verification from a health care provider.
