Summary:
Guarantees both women and men workers employed in businesses with six or more
employees eight weeks of parental leave for the birth or adoption of a child, or upon
becoming the primary caregiver of a child born or adopted in the previous twelve
months. The leave may be paid or unpaid at the employer’s discretion.
