Summary:
Workers in the private sector are entitled to up to $170 per week in state-provided Temporary
Disability Insurance (TDI) for short-term but serious medical conditions that require a
leave of absence from work, including pregnancy or childbirth-related disabilities.
Workers are eligible for up to 26 weeks of TDI, although fewer weeks are typically taken for pregnancy and childbirth.
