Summary:
Establishes a tax credit for a percentage of expenses incurred by employers pursuant to a telework agreement, to enable participating employees to begin to telework. The percentage of eligible telecommuting expenses to be reimbursed is determined by the number of days an employee teleworks, up to a limit of $1,200 for each participating employee.
Further, an employer who conducts a telework assessment is eligible to receive a tax credit for 100 percent of the cost of the assessment, up to $50,000.
