Summary: Guarantees eligible workers a total of 24 hours of leave, paid or unpaid, during any
twelve-month period for one or more of the following: to attend a medical appointment
(including a spouse’s or child’s appointment); to accompany an elderly relative to a
medical appointment; or to attend a child’s school conference.
