Makes it unlawful for an employer or labor organization to bar or discharge a worker from employment, withhold pay from, or demote a worker solely because the worker uses accrued and available sick leave.
Applies only to employers with 100 or more workers and that have a collective bargaining agreement with their workers, and to labor organizations.
Took effect in July 2011.
