National Partnership for Women & Families President Debra Ness will speak, discussing health care reform as well as recent federal and state progress on family-friendly issues.
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick is one of the nation’s most talented and innovative leaders and fastest rising political stars. In 2006, he became the Commonwealth’s first African-American Governor, winning office with a message of community and hard work. Governor Patrick has leadership experience at the top levels of business, government and advocacy work. As Governor, he is encouraging civic engagement and focusing on education, health care, and economic development. The National Partnership shares Governor Patrick’s vision of justice and equality.
