Emma Nochomovitz, Senior Policy Advisor, Consumer-Purchaser Disclosure Project
Emma Nochomovitz is senior policy advisor with the Consumer-Purchaser Disclosure Project which supports leading employer, consumer, and labor organizations who are working to improve access for all Americans to publicly reported health care performance information.
Prior to joining the National Partnership, Nochomovitz served as a project manager at National Quality Forum (NQF). Nochomovitz was responsible for managing operations and providing strategic guidance for a number of projects aimed at identifying and implementing national health care priorities, goals, and performance measures. Through her work with the National Priorities Partnership, a collaborative of national leaders in health care quality convened by NQF, Nochomovitz gained expertise in national programs and initiatives focused on aligning public- and private-sector efforts to implement system-level change and promote patient-centered care. Nochomovitz’s work at NQF also supported a strong knowledge-base in performance measurement for national quality improvement and accountability programs, particularly in the areas of patient-reported outcomes, care transitions, and overuse.
Before working at NQF, Nochomovitz worked at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. Within this role, she worked with providers across a large primary care physician group to implement a quality measurement system and achieve recognition from the National Committee of Quality Assurance for high-quality diabetes care. While in her hometown of Cleveland, Nochomovitz also received her Master of Public Health from Case Western Reserve University.
