Make Emergency Contraception Available

Restrictions on over-the-counter emergency contraception (EC) — like the ones kept in place by the Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS) over the objection of the Food and Drug Administration one year ago — are harmful and unnecessary. Evidence clearly shows that EC is safe, even for younger teens. We call on HHS to reconsider its decision, look again at the scientific evidence, and work to ensure that all women who need it have timely and private access to EC. More »
