Ensuring women’s access to contraception means fewer unintended pregnancies, healthier women and stronger families. Birth control is basic health care for women.
There is an overwhelming consensus in this country that women should have coverage for contraception, and ensuring that coverage is one of the most important advances for women in the new health reform law. While we believe all women should have full coverage for birth control now and we oppose any restrictions, we are pleased with the Administration’s action today. America’s women and families will be healthier for it."
