Erin Mackay, Associate Director, Health Information Technology Programs

Erin A. Mackay is the associate director of health information technology programs at the National Partnership for Women & Families.

Mackay's work is focused on managing and expanding the Consumer Partnership for eHealth (CPeH) coalition, as well as expanding outreach to consumer advocates at the state and local levels.

Prior to joining the National Partnership, Mackay worked for the Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC). During her five years at HLC, she was responsible for monitoring implementation of delivery system and payment reform initiatives. She managed the creation and publication of the HLC Value Compendium, and helped to manage the HLC-run Confidentiality Coalition focused on health privacy policy.

Mackay has undergraduate degrees in English literature and women and gender studies from the University of Virginia. She received a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in community health from George Mason University, where she graduated with honors.
