Dawn Godbolt

Health Program Associate

Dawn Godbolt is a health program associate at the National Partnership for Women and Families. Her portfolio includes research on health equity and maternal and infant health, and advocating for federal health policies that eliminate health disparities and provide greater access to care for marginalized groups. Her past work examined race differences in mothers’ fear of allowing children outside based on neighborhood factors, and the connection between stereotypes, religion and obesity. She holds a BS in Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University and recently completed her PhD in Sociology from Florida State University, where she was a Ronald E. McNair Graduate Fellow.
