Maya Nelander

Development Associate

Maya Nelander is the development associate at the National Partnership for Women & Families, where she works on the production of cultivation pieces, the annual gala and foundation grants.

Prior to her work at the National Partnership, Maya was a field organizer for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign in Bucks County, Penn. She worked to build a community of volunteers and supporters for the coordinated campaign. Maya graduated from the American University with a major in political science with a concentration in American government and a minor in law and society.

Maya grew up on a beach in South Carolina before moving to Washington, D.C., in 2012 for college. She enjoys finding new places the city to eat, drinking coffee and traveling.
