Our Staff & Board
Mariah Kitchin is a communications assistant at the National Partnership for Women & Families, where she works towards getting National Partnership products and messaging out to the media and the general community.
Prior to her work at the National Partnership, Mariah worked on social justice issues during her time interning for U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, working at Vista Maria, a female juvenile detention center, and doing mitigation work for juveniles sentenced to life without parole in the metro Detroit area. Mariah graduated from the University of Michigan with a major in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy.
Mariah grew up in California before heading to Michigan for school and just recently relocated to Washington, D.C. She enjoys running, exploring the D.C. area, and spending time with her family and friends.
