Health Program Assistant
Dani Gillespie is a health program assistant at the National Partnership for Women & Families, where she supports projects across the health policy portfolio. Dani assists in the planning and implementation of policy and advocacy activities, and contributes to fact sheets, blogs, and other public education materials and reports.
Prior to her work at the National Partnership, Dani supported marginalized populations in various direct service capacities. Most recently, Dani served with AmeriCorps as a conflict mediator in the public school system. In this role, she facilitated conversations between students, parents and teachers to help them reach collaborative solutions to disciplinary and truancy-related issues. These experiences inform her policy and advocacy work.
Dani earned her bachelor of arts in Economics from Northeastern University, where she graduated with high honors. When not at work, Dani moonlights as a barista and dances on her salsa team.
