The National Partnership for Women & Families promotes fairness in the workplace, reproductive health and rights, access to quality affordable health care, and policies that help women and men meet the dual demands of work and family. We believe that actions speak louder than words, and for four decades we have fought for every major policy advance that has helped women and families. Our reproductive health team advocates in Congress and in the Executive Branch for better reproductive health policy and for judicial and other executive nominees who support women's reproductive health and rights.
The Reproductive Health Policy Intern will work on a variety of projects, including legislative and policy research and analysis, drafting and editing public education materials, and assisting in publication of the Daily Women's Health Policy Report. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend coalition meetings, briefings, hearings, and other events on Capitol Hill and in other venues around town.
The internship is unpaid, but is available for course credit and may be full-time or part-time.
Note: We accept intern applications on a rolling basis and welcome interested law students and other graduate students to submit a cover letter, resume, and brief writing sample to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the subject line, please indicate Reproductive Health Policy Internship, as well as Spring, Summer or Fall. Applications will be accepted until the internship is filled. Thank you!
