The National Partnership for Women & Families promotes fairness in the workplace, reproductive health and rights, access to quality affordable health care, and policies that help women and men meet the dual demands of work and family. We believe that actions speak louder than words, and for four decades we have fought for every major policy advance that has helped women and families.
The 2014 Fall Communications Intern will work with all aspects of the National Partnership's issues. Activities will include research, writing and assisting with website development, attending internal and external meetings including press events, and responding to requests for information. Communications interns will acquire a broad background in communications strategy and will participate in special projects with program staff.
The internship is unpaid, but is available for course credit and may be full-time or part-time.
We welcome interested graduate or undergraduate students to submit a cover letter, resume, and brief writing sample to email@example.com with the subject line 2014 Fall Communications Internship.
The National Partnership is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based upon gender, race, national origin, disability, age, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity. People of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
